Volunteer!
If you'd be interested in being involved in organising and promoting future festivals, EMail us your details. We're unlikely to have any paid work available, sorry, though we do of course reimburse out-of-pocket expenses. Don't forget to tell us what you're interested in doing and what special skills you have to share. We'll get in contact about open meetings and other events you may be interested in.

How to put a show into Fringe 2002
Most Fringe shows are self-promoting under the Fringe banner, we actually do only a few core bookings ourselves (about 20% of this programme). Although we are always interested in receiving details about new shows, theatre companies, unusual cabaret & street acts, music of all sorts, and anything else you see or don't see in our programme, we only use a very small percentage of the material we get sent. We do however have a lot of information about putting yourselves on in Bath during Fringe time, we're happy to advise on venues, tech. and promotion possibilities. Get in touch and we'll see what we can do to help. Programming is mostly done from December to February but there can be spaces nearer the festival time itself. NB: our office isn't regularly staffed over the summer, we have to do other work then...
If you're interested in the Visual Arts Programme and the Fringe Art Fair, we can pass enquiries on but we don't run those events from this office.

Press:
We have a press & communications officer, Steve Henwood:
If you want these listings in a different form, pictures as prints or digital, more details on individual artists and events, or if you'd be interested in interviewing any Fringe 2001 performers, do get in touch. Telephone and EMail messages are monitored daily from January to June. Tell us how we can help!

Professionals:
We are always interested in meeting or corresponding with other festivals who feel they've got something in common with something we do. If you're interested in visiting Bath during festival time we may be able to help, and with inside track advice too... If you're in the same trade at the same scale you'll appreciate that all this gets more difficult when the festival is upon us!
